Jagmandir was vibrant with color the next morning for Shweta’s Rajasthani mehndi. The event featured Rajasthani folk dancers, and guests were treated to traditional bangles, bindis, and Rajasthani jooti. The bride’s ensemble included a traditional Rajasthani maang tika, and a mid calf length lengha.

On Planning: Making arrangements for everyone’s stay and travel was difficult since it was a destination wedding. Indian guests can be very unreliable. It was also difficult to choose amongst the various entertainment groups. The most fun part of planning the wedding was picking different themes, dress codes and concepts for each function. Our themes included Qawali night, the colorful Rajasthani mehendi, and the crazy drinking/dancing Bollywood Night. Oh, and ofcourse Jagmandir was mesmerizing- the beauty was unbeatable!
